ORIGINAL ART FROM THE ALLAKAZAM ARCHIVES COLLECTION:
This beautiful large caricature of Basil the Baffling Bunny is very special. It was originally created on a piece of paper using Chalk by The Magic Land of Allakazam's (former Disney artist) Glenn Schmitz. Glenn's favorite medium was chalk on paper. An interesting side-note is that, apparently, his fingers were cracked from the excessive use of chalk for his renderings. This particular piece was made as a set piece for Episode #37 of The Magic Land of Allakazam. It hung in Rebo's Balloon Shop alongside the equally large and spectacular partner piece of Rebo. (See collection listing).
Either as a stand-alone piece or side by side with the Rebo Caricature, since the original design was for the set, this particular sketch of Basil is a great way to bring a little Magic from Allakazam into your home! Not surprisingly, it is a favorite of the Wilson Family. Nani even allowed Greg to hang the original in his bedroom at the Wilson residence for many years. And now you can have your own Allakazam Archives Canvas Gallery Wrap that may last much longer than the original!
